Introduction

Living the everyday life of our family winery in Saint George-hill, founded by my parents, I got to know the approach and practices of organic grape growing and winemaking as a child.

So when I started my university studies, it was clear to me that I would enroll in the Agricultural Engineering course in Environmental Management, which deals with the organic unity of environmental protection and agriculture, at Georgikon in Keszthely, which was close to the farm. I spent the last two semesters of the training at the Horticulture Department of the Agriculture Faculty of Sütcü Imam University in Turkey, and before graduating, I also participated in a 4-month internship as a scholarship holder in the authoritative wine region of the viticulture in Burgundy, at an organic winery.

I graduated the Master of Agricultural Engineering in Environmental Management degree at the Szent István University in Gödöllő, during which I had the opportunity to join for a semester in Portugal to the European Masters of Ecology program at the University of Coimbra. I spent the internship of the BSc at the Research Station of Viticulture and Enology in Badacsony and at a biodynamic winery in Valpolicella, Italy.

I started my doctoral studies in 2016, during which I did a professional internship in the molecular research, then the bionformatical laboratory of the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Verona, and then I took part in further training in bioinformatics in Valencia, Spain.

Since the spring of 2019, I have worked as an assistant professor and did teaching and researching tasks related to the viticulturist-enologist courses. After the establishment of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences, I work as an lecturer at the Institute of Viticulture and Oenology.

Going back to the beginning, today I farm on Saint George-hill, I make wines on the spot, which founded my current goal at the time, to provide expert advice to farmers and provide acces to learn and implement the knowledge of organic farming.
